The role of social capital in promoting national security and sustainable development after the Islamic revolution with the approach of general policies of the system

Abstract

The current research was conducted with the aim of studying the role of social capital in promoting national security and sustainable development after the Islamic revolution with the approach of the general policies of the system. The current research method is based on the objective of applied and correlational type. The statistical population included all middle and senior managers of Golestan province, numbering 187 people. To determine the sample size, Cochran's formula was used and the sample size was 126 people. The data collection tool was the social capital effect questionnaire with 75 items and the national security questionnaire with 65 items. The validity and reliability coefficients of the questionnaires were obtained using Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.72, 0.81, 0.89, and 0.86, respectively. Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression were used for data analysis using SPSS version 24 software. The findings of the research indicate that according to the general policies of the system in the dimension of security, the sources of social capital have a lot in common with security components. the country has had, which directly and indirectly (such as trust building) enables the next steps in the path of progress and development. Therefore, it can be concluded that having a suitable social capital will provide security in all dimensions and ultimately development and progress at the level of the society, and on the contrary, the lack of social capital, the lack of other capitals, including economic, political, cultural, etc.
