Abstract

The general policies of population are one of the main general policies which consist of 14 clauses issued by the supreme leader in 2014. In the general policies, one the one hand, the focus is on dynamicity, activity, and the young people of current population as an opportunity, and it is indicated that population is a factor in the development of the country. On the other hand, the policies focus on the compensation of reducing population and fertility rate. The aim of this paper is to analyze implementing the general policies of population from 2011 to 2019 based on the combined index. The findings show that the general policies of population were not implemented successfully, and the combined index had a reducing trend from 2011 to 2019. Accordingly, the authorities should consider serious planning and resolving the problems of implementing the fourteen-dimensional policies.
