Abstract

The Supreme Leader has discussed the importance of food security in different times and meetings and presented principles and solutions in this regard. Therefore, using these principles and recommendations to solve the problem can be helpful. Therefore, the present research examines and studies the text of documents (laws and policies) as well as leadership statements, and using the thematic analysis method, to extract its themes in the framework of food security dimensions and their compatibility with the principles of governance. It is good that it is one of the desirable frameworks to achieve food security. Based on the findings of the research, attention to modern knowledge by specialists and the application of technology and other innovations in order to improve the level of production is the common theme of documents and statements. Also, accountability, efficiency and effectiveness and justice are the most important principles in achieving food security based on good governance based on the principles and recommendations in the leadership's statements, which should be considered in the adoption and establishment of policies and laws.
