World Bank has termed social capital as 'the invisible wealth of a country', encapsulating all the institutions, relationships, and values which form social relationships. Analyzing the significant effect of social capital on economic development is fundamental in economic decisions. To this end, the current paper takes some variables of social capital, namely, good governance, corruption index, access to internet, and women's contribution in labor market to be compared among the countries with high social capital and those with low social capital from 1998 to 2014. The findings indicate that the countries with high social capital, indexes of good governance, access to internet, education registration rate, and women's contribution rate in the labor market have a direct significant effect on economic development; however, the corruption index has a negative effect in this regard. In countries with low social capital, the corruption index has a negative significant effect on economic development. Indexes of good governance and women's contribution rate are not significant for countries with low social capital. On the other hand, access to internet has a negative effect on economic development in countries with low social capital, while the effect of education registration has a significant positive effect.}, keywords = {Economic Growth,panel data model, social capital}, title_fa = {سرمایۀ اجتماعی و رشد اقتصادی مطالعۀ مقایسه‌ای بین کشورهای با سرمایۀ اجتماعی بالا و کشورهای با سرمایۀ اجتماعی پایین}, abstract_fa = {در سال‌های اخیر، از سرمایۀ اجتماعی به‌عنوان زیربنای رشد و توسعۀ اقتصادی هر جامعه یاد‌ می‌شود. بانک جهانی سرمایۀ اجتماعی را «ثروت نامرئی کشور» می‌نامد و آن را دربرگیرندۀ نهادها، روابط و هنجارهایی می‌داند که تعاملات اجتماعی را شکل می‌دهند. تبیین این موضوع که سرمایۀ اجتماعی اثر معنا‌داری بر رشد اقتصادی دارد، نقش مهمی در تصمیم‌گیری‌های اقتصادی ایفا خواهد کرد. بدین منظور، در این پژوهش از بین متغیرهای سرمایۀ اجتماعی، به بررسی مقایسه‌ای تأثیر متغیرهای حکمرانی خوب، شاخص فساد، دسترسی به اینترنت و مشارکت زنان در بازار کار بر رشد اقتصادی بین کشورهای با بالاترین میزان سرمایۀ اجتماعی و کشورهای با پایین‌ترین میزان سرمایۀ اجتماعی در بازۀ زمانی 1998 تا 2014م پرداخته شده است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد در کشورهای با سرمایۀ اجتماعی بالا، شاخص‌های حکمرانی خوب، دسترسی به اینترنت، میزان ثبت‌نام در آموزش عالی و نرخ مشارکت زنان اثر مستقیم و معنا‌داری بر رشد اقتصادی دارد و شاخص‌ فساد دارای اثر منفی بر رشد اقتصادی است. در کشورهای با سرمایۀ اجتماعی پایین، شاخص فساد اثر منفی و معنادار بر رشد اقتصادی دارد. شاخص‌های حکمرانی خوب و نرخ مشارکت زنان برای کشورهای با سرمایۀ اجتماعی پایین بی‌معنا بوده و اثر دسترسی به اینترنت بر رشد اقتصادی کشورهای با سرمایۀ اجتماعی پایین منفی و معنا‌دار و اثر میزان ثبت‌نام ناخالص در آموزش عالی مثبت و معنا‌دار است.}, keywords_fa = {رشد اقتصادی,سرمایۀ اجتماعی,مدل پانل دیتا}, url = {https://www.jmsp.ir/article_68191.html}, eprint = {https://www.jmsp.ir/article_68191_fd6e1b2c7dbb31491d820194a6b040db.pdf} }
