This type of fundraising investment depends on several factors; knowing these factors can be useful in policy-making in countries unable to make proper use of FDI. The present study utilizes the Panel Data model and The Generalized Method of Moments to investigate the impact of institutional quality and exchange market pressure on foreign direct investment in 30 middle-income countries over a period of 2002-2015. The estimation results show that the exchange market pressure has a negative and significant effect, and the general index of governance has a positive and significant effect on FDI attraction. In addition, indicators of political stability, quality of laws and regulations, and control of corruption have had a positive effect on foreign direct investment, and among these components, the index of quality of laws and regulations have had the greatest impact. Moreover, the estimation of the pattern over the interaction term shows that institutional quality has reduced the impact of the exchange market pressure and economic uncertainty on FDI attraction.JEL Classification: F21, F31, H11}, keywords = {Exchange market pressure,Institutional Quality,Foreign direct investment,Generalized method of moments}, title_fa = {آثار کیفیت نهادی و فشار بازار ارز بر سرمایه‌گذاری مستقیم خارجی : مطالعه بین کشوری}, abstract_fa = {سرمایه‌گذاری مستقیم خارجی یکی از عوامل مهم رشد و توسعه کشورهاست و در دهه‌های اخیر روند فزاینده‌ای نیز داشته است. جذب این نوع سرمایه‌گذاری تابع عوامل متعددی است که شناخت این عوامل می‌تواند در سیاست‌گذاری کشورهایی که نتوانسته‌اند از این عامل به‌خوبی استفاده کنند، مفید باشد. این مطالعه با استفاده از الگوی داده‌های ترکیبی و روش گشتاورهای تعمیم‌یافته، تأثیر کیفیت نهادی و فشار بازار ارز (به عنوان معیاری مناسب برای سنجش نوسانات نرخ ارز در اقتصادهایی با رژیم‌های ارزی متفاوت) بر سرمایه‌گذاری مستقیم خارجی در 30 کشور با درآمد متوسط، در دوره زمانی 2015-2002 را بررسی کرده است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد فشار بازار ارز، اثر منفی و شاخص کلی حکمرانی، اثر مثبت و معنی‌دار بر جذب سرمایه‌گذاری مستقیم خارجی دارند. علاوه بر این شاخص‌های ثبات سیاسی، کیفیت قوانین و مقررات، حاکمیت قانون و کنترل فساد، تأثیر مثبتی بر سرمایه‌گذاری مستقیم خارجی داشته‌اند و در میان مؤلفه‌های مذکور، شاخص کیفیت قوانین و مقررات بیشترین تأثیر را در جذب سرمایه‌گذاری مستقیم خارجی داشته است. همچنین برآورد الگو با دوره تعامل نشان می‌دهد کیفیت نهادی به کاهش تأثیر فشار بازار ارز و کاهش تأثیر نااطمینانی اقتصادی بر جذب سرمایه‌گذاری مستقیم خارجی منجر شده است. طبقه‌بندی : F21, F31, H11}, keywords_fa = {فشار بازار ارز,کیفیت نهادی,سرمایه‌گذاری مستقیم خارجی,روش گشتاورهای تعمیم‌یافته}, url = {https://www.jmsp.ir/article_61895.html}, eprint = {https://www.jmsp.ir/article_61895_6ace341f9272c42c49c5b531e2e62464.pdf} }
